To counteract these threats, we at Fraunhofer IZI are researching the mechanisms of disease transmission and development as well as innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. Our **infectious disease pathology** team works closely with international partners to develop technologies for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. During your internship, you will gain an insight into the everyday life of a research institution and can apply theoretical knowledge from your studies or training in a practical way.
