**INTERNSHIP/THESIS IN CAE/FEM**
Location Lippstadt, Germany
**YOUR TASKS**
As part of your internship or thesis, you will support our
team in creating a model to describe the dynamic behavior of a selected
assembly using the Hyperworks simulation environment. Your tasks include:
* Modeling: Assist in creating a model to describe the dynamic behavior of a selected assembly using the Hyperworks simulation environment.
* System Response: Support in
determining the frequency-dependent system response based on the system's
eigenforms.
* Linearization: Investigate
various approaches to linearize nonlinear vibration phenomena (collision,
friction, preload) and define a validity range.
* Test Plan: Create a test
plan, conduct supervised measurements, and calibrate your numerical model.
* Final
Evaluation: Perform
a final evaluation regarding the simulation quality and process effort.
**START:** after arrangement **DURATION:** at least 12 weeks
**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
* During your HELLA time you are enrolled at a university and have not yet completed your last examination.
* Enrolled Student: You are currently pursuing a master's degree in Computational Engineering, Engineering Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Technical Knowledge: You understand the technical aspects of describing elastic structures and are familiar with the basics of elastomechanics (E-modulus, creep modulus, relaxation) and their impact on vibration dynamics.
* Programming Skills: Proficient in a higher programming language, ideally Python.
* Simulation Experience: You have initial knowledge in vibration simulation, ideally with ABAQUS or HyperWorks.
* Professional Qualifications: You possess good professional qualifications and demonstrate teamwork, creativity, and independence in fulfilling your tasks.
Even if you do not meet all our requirements, do not hesitate to apply to us, because the further development of our employees is very important to us and opens up a wide range of opportunities for you in our company.
Hella stands for the variety of all employees. Inclusion and diversity are firmly anchored in our company culture. We are continuously looking for new team players and welcome applications from all interested parties, regardless of their ethical and social background, age, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or identity.
