# Internship - Modeling of a Pyrolysis Process for Plastic Waste Recycling (m/f/d)
## WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Develop, validate and implement a first-principles model of an industrial-scale plastic waste pyrolysis reactor. The simulation tool so obtained will be used to design and optimize the operating conditions of said process.
You will be part of an engaged and competent team, supporting a real-life industrial project. You will be working on tasks independently, while getting appropriate scientific support.
* Propose and develop a dynamic model for the said process, based on literature and internal knowledge.
* Your tasks also include implementing the model in Python, following best coding practices.
* Furthermore, you are responsible for validating the model with experimental data.
* As part of your work, you are responsible for visualization, documentation, and presentation of your results to other research partners.
