## Job Description
Student pursuing a non-technical degree in a four-year degree program or advanced degree at a College/University in addition to gaining work experience at Agilent, in a position that is non-technical in nature. Length of work period is maximum of two to three months; no academic credit received. May return for a subsequent assignment.
We are looking for an Intern ( M/F/D) to strengthen our team, within the Biomolecular Analysis Division at Agilent Technologies, located in Waldbronn, Germany. The student will participate in development and validation of novel automated electrophoresis consumables and assays.
**Your responsibilities:**
* Performing measurements, analyses and interpretation of the data obtained by automated electrophoretic instruments
* Preparation of DNA/RNA/protein samples, separation buffers and their characterization using typical analytical techniques
* Development of novel consumables for our automated electrophoresis products
* Collaborate with R&D Scientist team on development of automated electrophoresis products
## Qualifications
**Your qualification**
* Bc. in Analytical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
* Skilled in handling chemicals and operating standard laboratory equipment, e.g. pH meter, pipettes, balances
* Experienced in handling RNA/DNA and
* Experienced in operating Agilent TapeStation instrumentation
* Knowledge of standard SW tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, is required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
