Internship Biobased R&D - Full Time - Oberwinterthur, Switzerland
Join our dynamic Bio-polymers and Bio-monomers R&D team within the Chemtech division in Switzerland. As an R&D Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in advancing our bio-based and renewable applications, contributing to innovative research and development efforts.
**Your main tasks and responsibilities:**
* Actively participate in experiments ranging from lab to pilot scale, supporting R&D engineers in bio-monomer production and bio-polymer research.
* Conduct detailed investigations into the synthesis and processing of bio-based materials.
* Perform comprehensive characterization of produced bio-monomers to facilitate subsequent polymerization trials.
* Be responsible of qualitative and quantitative analysis and data elaboration of raw materials and products.
* Present results at group meetings and summarize your work in form of reports.
**To succeed in this role, you will need:**
* Current student or recent graduate (Master’s or PhD) in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering, with a strong foundation in polymer chemistry.
* Hands-on laboratory experience in conducting organic chemistry synthesis.
* Know-how in characterization analysis like GC, HPLC and GPC.
* Fluency in English - other languages are a plus.
* Skilled in MS Office 365 (especially Excel)
