# Internship - AI-Based Localization for Autonomous Driving (m/f/d)
## YOUR TEAM
To support our team we are looking for an intern to join the "AI-Based Localization for Autonomous Driving" project. In your role, you will gain first-hand experience in AI-based localization for autonomous driving and become an integral part of the team that works on cutting-edge autonomous parking functionalities. Our department develops autonomous parking functionalities from the initial concept phase, through requirement analysis and profitability assessments, all the way to final approval. We are an open-minded, interdisciplinary team passionate about bringing innovative ideas to life and shaping the future of automotive mobility.
## WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Develop and improve odometry and SLAM algorithms for high-accuracy pose estimation
* Integrate localization and SLAM algorithms into real vehicles
* Implement and develop neural networks for radar localization
* Test and validate the algorithms in real world scenarios
## WHO YOU ARE
* Enrolled student in the filed of Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Cybernetics, Mathematics or equivalent
* Know-how of relevant sensors for autonomous driving and measurement technology
* Programming knowledge and experience in Python or C++
* Confident in English in both oral and written form
* High level of commitment, initiative and teamwork. Independent, goal-oriented and systematic way of working make you an ideal candidate
