Intern Statistics

**Job Overview**
This role as Statistics Intern will provide essential support to the Insights & Intelligence team by analysing various large datasets, and handling various tasks needed to monitor and analyse market trends
**Main Responsibilities**
* Analyze FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database for multiple brands in regard to device specific events
* Set up API integration of FAERS database to SHL data lakes and set up automatic analysis to be performed twice a year
* Explore if similar databases are available in other regions (e.g. Europe, Japan)
* Prepare clear, visually compelling reports and presentations to communicate key findings to stakeholders across different departments.
* Support the continuous improvement of data pipelines, dashboards, and analysis methodologies within the Insights & Intelligence function.
**Minimum Requirements**
* Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Mathematics or Economics with a focus in Statistics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of digital collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
* Ability to work independently and design and run statistical analysis independently.
* Willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
* Great written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluent in English.
