As an intern in Optical Applications, you will dive into the latest research and trends in optical technologies while designing innovative optical systems. Your role will involve analyzing data, creating reports, and supporting prototype development, making each day a blend of research and hands-on design.

Anforderungen

  • •Currently enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student in optics, optoelectronics, physics, information and communications, computer science, or mathematics
  • •Strong theoretical knowledge in geometrical, diffractive and/or physical optics
  • •Hands-on experience in optics preferred
  • •Experience with optical design and simulation software like Zemax, LightTools, CodeV, Comsol, FDTD, GSolver
  • •Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB considered a plus
  • •Strong willingness to explore innovative technologies
  • •Ability to independently search literature and patents in optical area
  • •Fluency in English (written and oral)
  • •Openness to cooperation and teamwork with multiple cultural backgrounds

  • •Track top-level publications and patents in optical wireless communication
  • •Analyze literature and produce analysis reports
  • •Conduct industry progress and trend analysis
  • •Identify high-value technologies for business scope
  • •Create technical insight reports
  • •Design optical systems based on project requirements
  • •Work on free space optics like displays and imaging lenses
  • •Develop flat optics such as meta-lenses and holographic elements
  • •Assist in formulating device specifications
  • •Support the manufacturing process
  • •Help build experiment setups or prototypes
  • •Collect, organize, and analyze data
