# YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern (m/f/d) to support our Mergers and Acquisitions team. This internship offers the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all stages of the M&A deal cycle, from strategic analysis and financial assessments to due diligence and valuation processes. As an M&A Intern, you will be involved in supporting active projects, conducting financial analyses, and contributing to the documentation of M&A best practices.
# Responsibilities
* **Strategic and Financial Assessment:** Assist in evaluating potential target businesses by conducting thorough strategic and financial assessments to determine their fit within the company’s M&A strategy.
* **Pre-NBO Analysis & Due Diligence Support:** Support the team in analyzing potential targets and assist with ongoing active projects, particularly in the pre-Non-Binding Offer (NBO) phase and the due diligence process.
* **Company Valuations:** Aid in developing financial and business model assumptions for company valuations, supporting the pre-NBO phase and throughout due diligence.
* **Financial Valuation Documentation:** Assist in compiling financial valuation reports, including supporting documentation for the internal approval process.
* **M&A Best Practice Support:** Contribute to selected M&A best practice initiatives, ensuring all processes and documentation align with industry standards.
* **General M&A Team Support:** Provide general administrative and project-based support to the M&A team as needed.
# YOUR PROFILE
* Currently enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.
* A basic understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Team player with a proactive attitude.
