**Your responsibilities**
The Uniper Renewables team is responsible for the development of the Group's wind and solar business, which is an important pillar of Uniper's strategy. With a strong team of experienced and dedicated employees, we develop projects with a variety of partners across Europe.
The newly-created Business Excellence team is within the Strategy and Business Development department of Uniper Renewables and focuses on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and innovation.
The Digitalization and Automation Intern is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of virtual dashboards, digital tools and automated solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance across the Renewables organization. The primary focus of this role involves creating digital visualizations of performance metrics; additional priorities include evaluating processes and systems to identify opportunities for digital enhancement and automation. The core responsibilities are as follows:
* Design and implement (i.e. code) digital systems and solutions for performance management
* Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and develop automation opportunities proposals
* Research emerging technologies for digitalization and automation tools
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution design and implementation
* Build a foundational understanding of the Uniper organization and Renewables industry
**Your profile**
* Undergraduate or graduate student, ideally in a technically-complex field of study (e.g. Information Systems, Computer or Data Science, Business Management, Environmental Analytics, Economics, etc.)
* Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
* Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and effectively in groups
* Effective verbal and presentation communication skills
* Business level English; other European languages (e.g. German, Italian, French) are a plus
* Positive energy, collaborative team spirit, and an appreciation and respect for diversity
