# Intern (f/m/d) AI/ML-enabled Sensing at the Edge
**Munich** | **Full time**
Are you inspired by machine learning, data, AI, currently enrolled at a German university, and ready for a new challenge in innovative ways of sensing in the context of an automotive use case? Do you want to contribute to real-world applications and gain experience developing innovative ideas? Then you will want to be a part of the Artificial Intelligence Competence Center at NXP, a leading semiconductor company.
**Responsibilities:**
At the AI Competence Center, we are looking for a student passionate about innovative sensing technologies for the automotive industry. Leverage your creativity for implementing new, fun, and innovating ways of AI/ML-enabled sensing in one of our light-house projects. During this internship, our team members will support you to scout, develop, and deploy state of the art machine learning models on NXP devices. In the project, you will learn to push your software development and machine learning skills further. You will invent, implement, and integrate a smart sensing technology into modern energy networks. After your internship, you and the team will be proud of having developed an innovative sensing solution for our real-time embedded application.
**Preferred skills:**
* Very strong skills in programming languages such as Python and or C/C++
* Practical experience with embedded software development (C/C++)
* Experience with Linux environments
* Some experience with AI/ML (e.g., Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax)
* Knowledge of Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) is a plus
* Contributions on GitHub is a plus
