# Intellectual Property Specialist (all genders) Hybrid **Vienna or Leoben | Full-time** **Your position** As an Intellectual Property Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Legal IP Management. You will oversee RHI Magnesita's global Intellectual Property portfolio, including patents and trademarks, while collaborating closely with stakeholders from R&D, Product Strategy, and Innovation. You will work with your team to evaluate and process invention disclosures, draft, file, and prosecute patent applications, and provide support to both inventors and the business. Additionally, you will monitor the IP activities of our international competitors and track market trends. **Your tasks** * Evaluate and process invention disclosures * Draft, file, and handle the prosecution of patent applications * Conduct IP searches and deliver training on IP rights * Coordinate patent and trademark application decisions in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders * Execute patent and trademark reviews with relevant teams * Handle IP administration (e.g., annuity payments, royalties, inventor remunerations) **Your profile** * A master's or doctoral degree in a technical or scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Ceramics, Metallurgy, etc.) * Some years of professional experience in the field of patents, preferably within the Mining, Cement, Glass, Steel, or Refractory industries * Qualified as, or in the process of becoming, a European Patent Attorney * Knowledge of the refractory or customer industries (e.g., Steel, Cement/Lime, Glass, NFM, etc.), including product knowledge, will be considered an advantage **Languages:** English – advanced; any additional language (e.g., German) will be considered an asset **Our offer** The annual gross salary for this full-time position starts at €70,000.00, with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values. **Flexibility:** Possibility of home office and flexible, trust-based working hours **Mobility:** Annual public transport pass (Wiener Linien) **Health:** Sponsorship of sporting events, platform for mental & physical health (Mavie) **Plus:** Our own café and daily food allowance for numerous restaurants (Europlaza), corporate benefits platform In addition to these local benefits for Vienna, we also offer you many global benefits. **At RHI Magnesita, everyone is welcome!** We embrace diversity in all forms and evaluate applications solely based on qualifications and experience.
