Anforderungen
- •Completed studies in chemistry or chemical process engineering
- •Qualification as a registered representative before the European Patent Office or comparable qualification
- •Several years of professional experience in an industrial company or private law firm
- •Experience in dealing with universities and research collaborations
- •Experience in leading complex projects within interdisciplinary teams
- •Fluent English skills; good knowledge of French and/or German
- •Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and strong customer orientation
- •Integrative personality with strong communication skills and team spirit
- •High level of initiative and flexibility

Deine Aufgaben
- •Identify patenting opportunities in research and development projects
- •Define, obtain, and enforce intellectual property rights domestically and internationally
- •Represent the Evonik Group before national and international authorities and courts
- •Challenge third-party intellectual property rights
- •Defend Evonik’s intellectual property against third-party attacks
- •Prepare expert opinions on Evonik’s and third-party IP positions
- •Evaluate IP positions prior to market launch of new products and processes
- •Contribute to the development and implementation of intellectual property strategies
- •Prepare expert opinions to safeguard Evonik’s know-how
- •Monitor compliance with patent, trademark, and employee invention laws
- •Advise on research, cooperation, licensing, and confidentiality agreements
- •Negotiate contracts with a focus on intellectual property
- •Review and approve new products, brochures, packaging, and publications
