Inside Sales Internship - 6 months - Full Time - Allschwil, Switzerland
We are looking for a/an Inside Sales Internship - 6 months to join our Process Solutions team in Switzerland.
As the Digital Sales Development Intern, you will be the first point of contact for leads generated through digital channels. Your mission is to qualify and nurture these leads, ensuring a seamless and informed handover to our Sales teams. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in digital sales and marketing who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global environment.
**Your main tasks and responsibilities:**
* Qualify and manage incoming leads from digital sources, ensuring they are routed efficiently to the right Sales teams
* Perform marketing and sales qualification through proactive outreach to convert raw leads into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
* Engage prospects via email, phone, and CRM platforms to identify needs, key stakeholders, and project potential
* Nurture leads with strategic follow-ups and relevant content to guide them along the customer journey
* Collaborate with Marketing and Regional Sales to enhance lead management processes and optimize handovers
* Initiate pilot opportunities and coordinate with Sales Managers for further engagement
* Track and analyze lead performance metrics; recommend improvements to boost conversion
* Work with CRM and marketing automation tools on a daily basis to manage and document interactions
**To succeed in this role, you will need:**
* Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
* Experience: 0–1 year of professional experience; internship or project-based experience is a plus
* Technical Skills: Strong digital affinity and interest in sales enablement tools, quick to learn and apply new software tools (CRM, marketing automation, etc.)
* Soft Skills: Proactive, analytical thinker with strong communication abilities, team player who can also operate independently, eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
* Language: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
