# Injection Molding Engineer (m/f/d)

Goals of the position:
* The primary goal of this position is to lead and support the successful launch, development, validation, and optimization of injection molding processes for new and existing equipment.
* The engineer will serve as the technical point of contact for mold start-ups, ensuring robust and repeatable processes are developed and aligned with project timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.
* This role bridges project management and hands-on process engineering to ensure smooth tooling launches and ongoing production efficiency.
**Your assignments:**
* Plan, schedule, and execute projects efficiently
* Ensure CAPEX investments are spent in a timely manner
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies
* Support the seamless technology transfer of molds and injection molding machines
* Help standardize best practices in injection molding
* Actively participate in global projects
* Support value streams in evaluating product development with regard to moldability and cost
* Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) for injection molding-related equipment
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, and manage the bidding process in collaboration with Procurement
* Lead concept and design reviews with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
* Take responsibility for Design Qualification (DQ), Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), and Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) as part of CAPEX projects
* Lead the implementation of equipment
* Monitor and report on CAPEX expenditures for each project
**Your Profile:**
* Degree in mechanical engineering with relevant production experience
* At least 5 years of professional experience in the field, particularly in molding processes
* In-depth knowledge of the latest injection molding machine technologies available on the market
* Experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment
* Familiarity with dialysis products is a strong advantage
* Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills, paired with creativity
