Anforderungen

  • •MSc or PhD in plant breeding or related field
  • •Several years of experience in hybrid breeding of agricultural crops
  • •Solid knowledge of quantitative genetics, field testing, and statistics
  • •Strong affinity for digital tools and handling large datasets
  • •Entrepreneurial, innovative, and collaborative mindset
  • •Team player with a hands-on, self-starting attitude
  • •Fluency in English; German is a plus
  • •Willingness to travel frequently in Germany during the summer season

  • •Develop competitive parental components and hybrids with the Lead Breeder
  • •Strengthen hybrid pools for target markets
  • •Conduct various data analyses
  • •Collaborate with the KWS barley breeding team on data and tool development
  • •Work with seed production and research teams
  • •Support commercial launches and variety trials
