Our mission is to enable the business, and leverage human resources to achieve short and long-term business objectives. Our primary areas of strategic focus include talent acquisition, individual and organizational assessment and development, performance management, inclusion and engagement, and rewards. The global HR organization includes HR business partners, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and HR system operations.
**Job Description/Preferred Qualifications**
Business Support:
• Partner with business unit leaders to support strategic HR goals and initiatives that align with business needs.
• Drive the HR strategy for the KLA Jena site.
• Engage in strategic and constructive cooperation with the local works council to develop, agree and implement new works council agreements.
• Maintain close cooperation with the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Take a leadership role in developing an organizational culture consistent with KLA’s mission and core values by joining business unit management meetings, including annual strategic planning, monthly and quarterly reviews, and site management meetings as required.
• Define, analyze, and measure outcomes of HR programs through data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Passionately drive the “Inclusion for All” agenda within the region ensuring this is a focus for both leadership and HR.
• Drive the harmonization of terms, conditions, policies and systemization and standardization of processes to improve efficiency.
• Lead or participate in regional/global HR projects as required.
Employee Relations:
• Provide guidance and expertise on handling employee relations issues
• Promote organizational change through timely communication, advice, and direction.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Assess regulatory compliance and actively educate and report to management on potential areas of concern, including management of internal and external audits.
Team member of German-wide HR Team:
• Collaborate with the German-wide HR team to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices and policies.
• Work closely with KLA Centers of Excellence partners to drive improvements in Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Inclusion for All, Legal, and Communications.
**Minimum Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Business Partner role.
* Strong knowledge of German labour laws and regulations, working experience in cooperation with works council
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (German and English)
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
* Experience with HR systems and tools.
* Work comfortably in a fast-growing matrix organization
* Track record in HR project management and process improvements
* An intuition for business and an understanding of the financial implications of HR initiatives.
* Experience in business analysis to implement relevant reporting as needed by the business
* Ability to promote fairness and integrity in the implementation of HR policies, programs, and practice
