**Job Description Summary**

Purpose of the role:
The Healthcare Systems Partner drives strategic collaboration with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem to enable sustainable patient access by implementing innovative reimbursement models, shaping supportive health policy, and overcoming access barriers through cross-functional alignment and data-driven solutions.
This role reports directly into the Lead Early Products & Healthcare System Readiness and is part of the team Value & Access and External Affairs.

**Major** **Accountabilities**
* Partner with key healthcare system (HCS) stakeholders along the corresponding funds flow of a patient journey, understand pain points and engage in projects with strategic overlap for stakeholders and Novartis to
* Ensure sustainable implementation of national reimbursement decisions (i.e. pricing models)
* Establish infrastructure supporting innovative access models
* Make data accessible for reimbursement purposes
* Develop, co-create and promote with relevant stakeholder health policy supporting & facilitating patient access with regards to remit of work
* Be fully accountable for assigned projects along the patient access pathway incl. medical and non-medical access hurdles
* Develop and implement HCS engagement plans incl. customer facing mapping
* Manage alignment within the cross-functional teams, securing resources and endorsement from local leadership
* Fostering strategic discussions and developing business cases to gain endorsement from WEC, Region Europe and Global
**What you’ll bring to the role:**
* University degree in natural sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, medicine, economics, law, international relations, politics or equivalent
* Full professional proficiency in English and German, French or Italian is considered an advantage
* > 3 years of experience in at least one stakeholder sector within the healthcare industry, experience with reimbursement dossier compilation would be a plus Good commercial understanding of the pharmaceutical market
* Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific, (health) policy and economic topics as well as strong project management, negotiation, and analytical skills
