# Head of Rough-Cut Capacity Planning **Bern** | **Full time** | **Hybrid (remote and on-site)** As part of our growth journey, we have built a new Supply Chain organization with a mission to empower Bavarian Nordic’s strategy and growth by ensuring a continuous and efficient supply of finished goods. **The role** As we build new planning capabilities through 2025, we are looking for a Head of Rough-Cut Capacity Planning. In this role, you are responsible for working with internal and external partners to deliver a Rough-Cut Capacity Plan and Production plans. You will lead a team of three planners, own 0-36 months of capacity and a short-term master production plan, and be the key interface for the internal manufacturing sites. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) for internal and external manufacturing sites, facilitate monthly RCCP exercises, and escalate risks in Supply Review meetings. Collaborate on digital solutions for capacity planning and assess financial implications with finance. Lead the site planning assumption review process * Oversee Master Production plan, ensuring alignment with resources and operational efficiency. Communicate priorities with stakeholders and address production-related issues * S&OE Process: Lead the weekly S&OE process, establish performance metrics, and escalate supply gaps through SCIM * Annual Budget Process: Collaborate with finance during the annual budget process to update site planning assumptions and to illustrate financial implications of mix changes and changes in critical assumptions such as lot sizes, etc. Manage and develop a team of planners, set priorities, and foster collaboration with key manufacturing and quality stakeholders. Proactively assess manufacturing risks and drive mitigation strategies **Skills & Competencies** * Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams * Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from both quantitative and qualitative data * Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present analysis clearly * Adaptable communication style to effectively engage stakeholders at various organizational levels * A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field * Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, Lean) is preferred but not required * At least 7 years of experience in supply and production planning * Minimum of 5 years in leading planning teams * Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry * Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL If you thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment, we’d love to hear from you! **Why this role** This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact in supply and production planning within the pharmaceutical industry.
