Within the B. Braun Melsungen AG, the OPEX team of the Center of Excellence Infusion & Pain Therapy (CoE IPT) of our Hospital Care division is looking for a Head (f/m/d) of Operational Excellence.
The OPEX-Team fosters a culture of continuous improvement. It focuses on the identification of improvement-potentials in processes at the production sites and in the CoE to achieve sustainable cost-reduction and performance-gains.
As Head (f/m/d) of Operational Excellence you have a key-role in the development and execution of the CoE´s strategic projects and initiatives to achieve cost-reduction and efficiency-improvement.
You are responsible for the harmonization and development of the OPEX system for the medical plants of the division Hospital-Care.
As part of the Circle of Competence (CoC) you collaborate on the definition of best practises for Operational Excellence.
**Tasks and responsibilities:**
* Disciplinary and professional leadership of the Operational Excellence area for the Center of Excellence Infusion & Pain Therapy
* Development and execution of strategic measures for a continuous cost reduction within the CoE and its production sites
* Finding and implementation of solutions as well as implementation of optimization projects with a focus on production, process and product development
* Mediation, application and implementation of an operational excellence culture using lean management methods
* Support and active cooperation towards corporate OPEX strategies
* Operational support of the plants for process analysis, identification of waste and definition of performance improvement plans
* Driving a review-process with the plants, assessing the impact and effectiveness of performance initiatives and make necessary adjustments
**Professional skills:**
* You have successfully completed a bachelor degree in business administration, medical technology or engineering
* You have at least five years of practical experience in management consulting, in continuous improvement programs and in project management
* Ideally, you have professional experience in a medical technology company and/or management
* You demonstrate a high level of expertise in the application of lean management techniques, proven practical experience with the DBM system is an advantage
* Your German and English skills are excellent. Further language skills are an advantage
