## Your Key Responsibilities:
**Your Mission:** You are passionate about turning complexity into clarity? In this role, you will lead our global Material Planning & Steering strategy with the goal of balancing material availability and capital efficiency. As Head of Material Planning and Steering, you will be responsible for overseeing global material planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination for sourcing finished goods from internal and external sources. You will play a pivotal role in aligning Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) with business objectives to ensure seamless production, distribution and material performance.
* You drive tactical Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and act as a key player in translating sales demand into tangible material flows.
* You align and communicate continuously with internal stakeholders across functions and regions – ensuring full transparency in material planning.
* You take charge of global material asset control – including inventories, rental assets, investments, and goods in transit.
* You coordinate tactical and operational sourcing of finished goods, both from internal production plants and external partners.
* You ensure material availability for all subsidiaries and proactively manage escalations in case of imbalances.
* You translate strategic planning into concrete long-term material requirements for our production and supply network.
* You lead cross-functional alignment and communicate any relevant availability updates to markets and sales organizations.
* You monitor and resolve deviations in material availability – balancing overstock and shortages through targeted measures.

## What you bring:
* A university degree (diploma or master) in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field
* At least 10 years of professional experience in a leadership role within the SCM, Sales & Operational Planning environment
* Excellent Know How in Sales, operational Planning and supplier management
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and align diverse stakeholder groups
* Willingness to travel international (up to 20%)
* Solid understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes
