Head of Embedded Systems Development(m/w/x)

In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of developers, ensuring the successful planning and execution of embedded systems projects. Your work will involve collaborating across departments, integrating new technologies, and upholding quality standards to enhance medical technology solutions.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
• •Several years of professional experience in embedded systems development, preferably in medical devices
• •Experience in technical and disciplinary leadership and developing high-performing teams in regulated environments and cybersecurity
• •Experience in collaborating with and managing external development partners nationally and globally
• •In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Linux-based real-time operating systems, preferably Zephyr
• •Familiarity with modern product and software development methods and CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira
• •Knowledge of platform development/product line engineering; practical experience is desirable
• •Application-related project management skills using classic and agile approaches
• •Solution-oriented and analytical mindset
• •Good communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
• •Enjoyment of working with international and diverse teams
• •Very good English skills, written and spoken, and good German skills
