Anforderungen

  • •University degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable scientific-technical qualification
  • •10+ years professional experience in process industry or related industries
  • •Deep expertise in Electrical Engineering, particularly electrical power supply and drive technology
  • •Very good knowledge of adjacent PCT topics
  • •Experience in investment projects in Greenfield and Brownfield
  • •Sound project management knowledge and understanding of engineering processes
  • •Practical experience in plant support, operations, maintenance or asset management
  • •Proven experience in people leadership and international collaboration
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • •Structured, conceptual working approach and ability to manage complexity
  • •Cooperative, customer-oriented, innovation and implementation-focused
  • •Fluent in German and English
  • •Willingness to travel as required

  • •Develop and implement strategic direction for Electrical Engineering
  • •Assess Covestro's requirements for efficient plant operation
  • •Define and maintain global standards and best practices for electrical engineering
  • •Ensure electrical safety and compliance with regulations
  • •Lead and develop the global Electrical Engineering Community
  • •Build and maintain strategic networks with industry partners
  • •Identify strategic suppliers and new partners with Procurement
  • •Develop joint roadmaps with strategic suppliers
  • •Coordinate technical specifications for global contracts
  • •Manage and develop the Electrical team
  • •Plan resources and ensure staffing for investment projects
  • •Participate in steering and technical committees for investment projects
  • •Promote change readiness and implement transformation initiatives
  • •Encourage innovation and continuous improvement aligned with PCT strategy
