# Head of Customer Insights & UX Strategy (f/m/x)

**Your Role**
* As a **line manager, lead a team of User Insight & UX Strategy Experts** of different levels in Munich, who work in cross-functional teams to develop future products and services based on customer & user needs; end to end responsibility from hiring to people & career development and staffing
* Acquire and set up / scope meaningful **strategic Design Thinking projects** for all ZEISS business units - ranging from medical technology to microscopy or semiconductor business; be responsible for high quality outcomes and seamless collaboration
* Act as a reliable partner for the **ZEISS business units** **and key stakeholders** - from explorative early innovation phases to agile implementation, quickly moving from hypotheses to MVPs and implementation
* Work with and guide **interdisciplinary teams**, from designers to business or tech experts
* Challenge and support the further development of **methodologies** from Design Thinking to Futures Thinking – e.g. within internal strategic initiatives
* Foster a positive and inclusive **team culture** by building a strong sense of community; encourage open communication, collaboration, and continuous feedback to create an environment where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered

**Your Profile**
* A **Master’s degree** in User Research related studies (e.g. sociology, human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, design …) – or an equivalent work experience
* Deep know how in **Design Thinking and User Insights methodologies**, a convincing track record that shows your ability to move from early-stage customer insights to MVP and implementation
* **Multiple years of work experience** in a leading research & innovation agency or in an in-house innovation department **gained during the last 8 years**
* Many years of **line management experience** in Innovation / UX Research (incl. Research Ops accountability)
* Convincing **leadership skills** like empathy, strategic thinking, entrepreneurial thinking, problem solving skills and pragmatism where needed
* Strong **scoping, project planning and stakeholder management** skills
* Strong verbal and written **communication & presentation** skills in English and German
