## Head of Brand Marketing (m/f/x) remote
**Your mission**
At sevdesk, we’re building Germany’s most loved accounting platform for the self-employed and microbusinesses. As our new Head of Brand Marketing you’ll take the lead in shaping a distinctive, credible, and widely known brand across Germany and Austria.
You’ll be responsible for both **brand marketing** and **external communications** — ensuring sevdesk is top-of-mind for founders and freelancers, respected by the press and ecosystem, and clearly differentiated from a growing list of competitors. In this highly cross-functional leadership role, you’ll manage a talented team, steer key agencies, and work closely with Brand Design, Demand Gen, and Cegid Brand & Comms to drive long-term brand equity and short-term business impact.
**Here's how you'll make an impact:**
* **Define and evolve** the sevdesk brand strategy — including positioning, messaging, and tone.
* **Own brand campaigns** from brief to execution, working cross-functionally and with agencies to deliver standout creative across digital, social, and offline.
* **Lead our PR and external communications**, building strong media relationships and driving thought leadership that amplifies our voice in Germany and beyond.
* **Build and develop a high-performing team** across brand, comms, social, and events — and lead agency relationships to scale our impact.
* **Drive brand investment strategy**, balancing proven channels (e.g. paid social, influencer, content) with new experiments and creative formats.
* **Connect brand to business impact** — partner with Demand Gen, Product, and Marketing Ops to track brand health and influence on acquisition and retention.
**Your qualification**
* 10+ years of experience in brand marketing and/or communications, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
* Background in fast-paced tech, SaaS, or consumer-facing businesses — ideally product- or marketing-led environments with no sales org.
* Experience in building brands across both digital and offline media. Also a strong understanding of the German PR and media landscape; proven success with agency management and earned media strategy.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional brand initiatives from concept to execution.
* Strong analytical and creative judgment — you know what makes people feel something, and what makes the numbers move.
* Fluent German (C2) and English (C1+) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
