# Hardware Developer for Test Systems (f/m/d)

The position can be filled in full or part time.
**Summary**
For the “Test Hardware” department, we are looking for a “Hardware Developer for Test Systems (f/m/d)” at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The team, consisting of 25 employees, designs, develops, constructs and integrates production and customer testers for radar, electronic warfare and avionics systems for vehicles, airplanes, helicopters and ships. The test systems typically consist of a 19" rack based on COTS components with project-specific plug-in units and an electrical, mechanical and thermal test adaptation to simulate the real application.
**Your Tasks**
* Design, development and initial commissioning of project-specific test systems
* Implementation of system requirements in a 19" rack design
* Definition of interface adaptations
* Selection of suitable measuring devices and materials
* Initial integration and commissioning of prototypes
* Creating the necessary documentation and test specifications
* Obsolescence elimination and redesign of existing test systems
* Supporting test system users in production with error analyses and troubleshooting
Willingness to travel is a prerequisite.
**Your Profile**
* Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering / communications engineering / mechatronics or equivalent
* Experience in hardware configuration, version management and change management advantageous
* Knowledge of measurement technology
* Knowledge of HF measurement technology advantageous
* Knowledge of SAP ERP & PLM advantageous
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Fluency in German and advanced knowledge of English
