Group Strategy PMO Manager - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Strategy PMO Manager to support the implementation and ongoing development of Sulzer’s Group Strategy. This strategy consists of strategic programs that drive value through operational excellence and commercial excellence, as well as growth across the group.
The ideal candidate will bring 1–2 years of experience in a strategic role, ideally within an industrial or engineering environment. This role offers a strong development opportunity for an early-career professional looking to advance in program governance and strategic execution within a global business context.
**Your main tasks and responsibilities:**
* **PMO Management:**
* Support implementation & execution of PMO frameworks & processes.
* **Strategic Alignment:**
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic objectives.
* Support in defining and monitoring the organization’s initiative portfolio to ensure value delivery.
* **Performance Monitoring & Reporting:**
* Track and finetune indicators to measure initiative performance.
* Deliver regular progress and health reports to respective stakeholders.
* **Resource Management:**
* Supporting Support teams in resource allocation across initiatives to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
* **Stakeholder Engagement:**
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication amongst respective stakeholders.
**To succeed in this role, you will need:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree / MBA preferred but not a must).
* 1-2 years of experience in program management, program coordination or related roles.
* Familiarity with PMO functions and principles.
* Understanding of financial management principles desirable.
* Awareness of change management principles and practices.
* Strong communication, adaptability, and conflict resolution skills to foster collaboration.
* Ability to align initiatives with goals, analyse data, and make evidence-based decisions.
* Fluency in English, other languages a plus.
