## Your Challenge
* **Process Optimization**: Analyze and continuously improve existing processes within production and key interfaces (e.g., Sales, Supply Chain) to increase efficiency, drive standardization, and enhance cost-effectiveness. Focus areas include manufacturing, shopfloor operations, maintenance, S&OP processes, and technical infrastructure
* **Operational Excellence Agenda**: Develop and steer the Group’s Operational Excellence roadmap in close collaboration with business units. Identify, prioritize, and quantify optimization opportunities based on solid business cases
* **Performance Management**: Design and implement meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and reporting standards to support the long-term management of operational excellence initiatives
* **Benchmarking & Continuous Improvement**: Identify and scale high-impact improvements across the organization by leveraging internal best practices and external benchmarks
* **Safety Culture**: Establish structured processes to promote and embed workplace safety into daily operations across all levels of the organization
* **Change Management & Training**: Support transformation initiatives through targeted communication, training programs, and effective stakeholder engagement
## Your Profile
* University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or a related field
* Several years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Management, Process Optimization, or Supply Chain Management – ideally within a global manufacturing or consulting environment with exposure to plastics processing
* Proven track record in implementing operational excellence programs and leading successful projects and change initiatives
* Solid understanding of S&OP processes and expertise in Lean methodologies, continuous improvement (CIP), Six Sigma, or comparable frameworks (recognized certifications are a plus)
* Experience in leading projects or teams in an international context
* Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working and a good sense of business interrelationships and key financial figures
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
* Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–40%)
