As a GNSS Performance Specialist, you will define and validate service requirements for innovative Galileo services, develop software tools, and participate in validation campaigns to ensure optimal performance in various user environments.

Anforderungen

  • •Master’s degree in Navigation, Electrical Engineering, Geodesy, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
  • •Detailed theoretical and practical knowledge of system design, navigation signals, and system performance of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GPS, Galileo, Glonass) or Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (EGNOS)
  • •Basic understanding of GNSS receiver processing techniques and modern cryptographic approaches for secure communication and data authentication
  • •Demonstrated experience in software development with C, C++, Python, or Matlab
  • •Familiarity with basic systems engineering processes and experience with requirements engineering and verification according to ECSS standards
  • •Ability to analyze complex technical problems and define innovative solutions
  • •Strong interpersonal skills (teamwork, communication, professional contact with customers)
  • •Fluency in English
  • •Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Define and validate service requirements for new Galileo services
  • •Focus on Open Service Navigation Message Authentication and Emergency Warning Service
  • •Support the analysis of feasibility and improvements for new Galileo services
  • •Develop, implement, and maintain software tools for testing and validation
  • •Post-process GNSS receiver data for future Galileo services
  • •Execute performance analysis and prediction using software tools
  • •Participate in service validation campaigns for Galileo test signals
  • •Define key performance indicators (KPI) for service performance
  • •Implement software tools for KPI monitoring
  • •Support the definition of Minimum Performance Levels for public service documents
  • •Prepare Service Validation Plans and develop test cases and procedures
  • •Assess and present test results in reports
  • •Flow down service requirements to system and service facility specifications
  • •Follow up on validation activities and collect verification credits
  • •Participate in project reviews
  • •Support the Galileo Service Requirements Engineering and Validation team
  • •Liaise with customers EUSPA and ESA regarding tasks
