**Key purpose of the role and how it adds value:**
The GMM is the main partner for the Global Platform Director and the Growth Platform stakeholders of our Culinary Growth Platforms. They drive the growth platform by improving and implementing the platform strategy and continuously analyzing the global landscape, market trends and consumer and customer needs. They drive commercialization by owning the marketing plans, ensuring comprehensive value propositions on key icons, applications and technologies and bring them to life by planning and executing effective marketing initiatives in line with regions. Additionally, they provide marketing support to high-profile accounts to enable a superior omnichannel customer experience and participate in Customer Foresight projects.
**Role Accountabilities & Deliverables**
**Activate Growth Platform (60%)**
**Ownership of Global Marketing Plan:** Lead the development and execution of the growth platform's global marketing plan in close alignment with the regions, including promotions, cross-regional and transversal initiatives, thought leadership programs and external events
**Strategic Recommendations:** Provide strategic insights and challenge existing platform strategies to enhance effectiveness. Stay updated on market trends and conduct regular assessments, including consumer need states, competitive landscaping, whitespace analysis and emerging trends
**Value Proposition Development:** Create compelling value propositions, supported by consumer and customer validation
**Commercialization of Innovations:** Drive commercialization process for innovations from S&T roadmap with Global Product Managers
**Content Creation:** Develop engaging content for external communication campaigns in close collaboration with Communication Directors, ensuring alignment with brand values and resonance with target audiences
**Community Building:** Establish and nurture a Growth Platform community with regions and BUs in collaboration with the Platform Director to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration
**2.) Support Selected Accounts (20%)**
**Ongoing Key Account Support:** Create and provide marketing materials and strategic input for high-profile accounts, working closely with account leads to ensure alignment with customer needs
**Customer Project Support:** Marketing support for selected customer projects (e.g. T2T), collaborating with account managers to ensure successful execution
**3.) Transversal Initiatives and Marketing Tools (20%)**
**Leadership in (Digital) Strategic Initiatives:** Lead or support transversal strategic marketing initiatives and be at the forefront of digital transformation as initiator or key user
**Fostering a Cutting-Edge Marketing Organization:** Nurture the marketing community by enhancing collaboration, provide thought leadership in marketing practices and contribute to development of digital tools enhancing overall marketing effectiveness

* Leads external agencies for market research, marketing consulting (e.g. Value Proposition), Food Experiences
**Skills Required:**
The GMM needs to have a marketing degree and professional experience in marketing of min 5 years in a regional or global context. They need to have a strategic mindset, commercially thinking and a certain level of creativity and out-of-box-thinking while being able to manage complex projects. They have a level of seniority and influencing skills to represent in front of customers and drive decisions up to our top management.
