**Global/Group Category Manager – POS Materials**
Location: Ziegelbrucke, Switzerland
**Role overview**
Are you ready to shape the future of POS Materials procurement on a global scale at Carlsberg? We are looking for a Global Category Manager to lead the optimization of POS materials category across the Carlsberg Group ensuring the best value for money and the right quality POS materials for our local businesses worldwide.
**What you’ll be doing**
* Managing and further developing e-shop for Global Brands with potential extension to Local Brands.
* Map POS materials categories spend cube and identify areas, sub-categories for optimization.
* Develop global category strategies for the different sub-categories of POS materials.
* Based on the category strategy either conduct global sourcing or develop best practice processes, tools and ways of working for the regions and markets to enable more efficient investment of these materials.
* Working with key senior global, regional and local stakeholders and procurement teams to deliver significant efficiencies in the POS materials area.
**What we’re looking for**
* 8+ years of experience in strategic Procurement and/or Trade Marketing of POS Materials (preferably in beverage or FMCG sectors).
* Proven track record of category spend optimization, sourcing strategy development, execution and project management.
* Strong negotiation skills, contract management skills required.
* Strong financial acumen with expertise in business case development and ROI analysis.
* Previous experience in POS materials category and in the commercial (Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing) area is a plus
* Strategic thinker with good communication, stakeholder engagement and cross-functional influencing skills.
**Education:**
* Minimum of a Bachelor's or University degree is required.
* Master’s degree in Procurement or Marketing/Sales would be an advantage.
**Languages:**
* Fluent English is a must
* Other major world languages are a plus
