## Global Financial Controller ###### Permanent employee, Full-time ·Stuttgart,Barcelona --- ##### About the Position We are looking for a new colleague! Are you a Finance Expert Ready for a Global Challenge? Join us as our Global Financial Controller. ##### What you will be doing As a Global Finance Controller, you will be responsible for all the tactical, operational, and strategic financial handling for our locations in Germany, Spain, the UK, and Denmark. You will be responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of BABLE's financial policies and procedures and ensuring the development of tools and systems that are relevant, appropriate, and of high quality. Tasks involve: * Implementing the ongoing restructuring of BABLE's internal financial management, control policies, and procedures, and ensuring alignment with the company’s Strategic Goals. * Responsible for bookkeeping, invoicing, and reimbursement of (private) expenses in Pleo. * Finance Administration such as managing company data for all locations and supporting financial reporting in EU-funded contracts, and grants. * Ensuring that BABLE's finance and accountancy workflows are user-friendly and appropriate in all offices. * Coordinate with banks and support the audit process. * Offering a regular sharp analysis of BABLE's general accounts, financial health, forecasting, and trending risks and opportunities. ##### What you can bring in * Great communication skills. * Experience working with Odoo or similar ERP systems. * Ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary team. * Ability to effectively work collaboratively with different business units. * Enthusiastic, self-starter who can work autonomously, under pressure, in decentralized teams, and think outside the box. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Ability to organize effectively with attention to detail, precision, and accuracy. * Manage MS office. ##### Your profile * Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling or Finance. * Familiarity with IFRS, and/or Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB), and/or Plan General Contable, especially revenue recognition rules. * A proven track record, strong business acumen, and an analytical and proactive approach to solving problems and managing data. * Able to process complex topics into simple presentations and documents. * Your languages: English proficiency is mandatory; German and/or Spanish would be an added value. * Proactive mentality – Try, fail, learn, succeed. ##### What we offer to you At BABLE, we strive to simplify innovation.
