## German Linguist (Remote, Germany) **Work Location:** Remote in Germany/Work from home **Engagement Model:** Full-time **Language Needed:** German **Expected start:** June 2025 **Project duration:** 9 months DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Linguist with idiomatic fluency in German to join our team in Germany and work remotely on data curation and evaluation. **Role Summary** As a Linguist, you will curate and evaluate linguistic data, review outputs from speech models, and execute scripts for task automation. You will also provide feedback based on data analysis. **Role Responsibilities** * Curate and evaluate linguistic data with accuracy and attention to detail * Review and assess outputs generated by speech models * Execute scripts via command line for task automation or data handling (running, not developing) * Provide feedback and draw conclusions based on the analyzed data * Collaborate with the team to continuously improve data quality and task processes ## Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics * Strong understanding of linguistic concepts such as phonetics, syntax, semantics, and morphology * Previous experience in similar tasks (data curation, evaluation, or linguistic analysis) is a plus * Idiomatic fluency in German * Advanced level of English * Proficiency in French or Italian is a plus * Detail-oriented with good analytical and critical thinking skills * Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently * Good communication skills, both written and verbal
