The Head of Legal & Compliance Surface Solutions will oversee the legal and compliance functions of a newly independent global organization with 1,200 employees in 20 countries. This role will provide strategic legal guidance, manage legal risks, and build a standalone legal organization to support the company’s needs post-divestment. Furthermore, the General Counsel will be in charge of creating synergies and of driving the globalization transformation of GNMI as a group as part of the mid-term integration process. This includes the identification of opportunities for Legal and Compliance integration and synergy across affiliated business units to maximize value creation and achieve operational efficiency. **Your Role:** * Develop and implement a legal strategy aligned with business goals. * Provide legal counsel to the President and leadership team. * Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance. * Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across geographies. * Oversee data protection, intellectual property, and contract management. * Identify and mitigate legal risks to protect company interests. * Design legal systems and processes for a newly independent company. * Recruit and manage an in-house legal team. * Collaborate with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities. * Negotiate and manage contracts with stakeholders and vendors. **Who You Are** * Law degree from a recognized institution; bar admission required. * 12+ years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate and international law. * Proven expertise in managing legal operations for global organizations. * Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills. **What We Offer** * A leadership role in shaping the legal function of a global organization. * Exposure to complex, high-impact legal challenges. * Competitive compensation and benefits package. **What we offer:** We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
