Full Stack Engineer(m/w/x)

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge tools for the global research community, collaborating with experts to enhance open science platforms and adapting to dynamic project needs.

Anforderungen

• •Professional experience in developing and operating production systems
• •Experience with Python and LangChain, including design of retrieval-based AI systems
• •Experience integrating or developing AI driven features in real applications
• •Experience building modern frontend applications with ReactJS
• •Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, with ability to write efficient SQL queries
• •Experience collaborating within engineering teams using Git and platforms such as GitHub
• •Exposure to MCP servers and multi component service architectures
• •Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean coding practices
• •Ability to design and implement features across the full stack
• •Understanding of embedding creation and RAG evaluation, with a creative mindset for improving LLM driven retrieval systems
• •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• •Good understanding of container orchestration concepts, familiarity in Kubernetes advantageous
• •Familiarity with search technologies such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
• •Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices
• •Understanding of cloud concepts and infrastructure as code
• •Spoken and written English, commitment to learn French
• •Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience or PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience
