## Freelance Game Designer (m/f/d) at international Educational Gaming Startup ###### Freelancer, Full or part-time ·München,Berlin --- **YOUR ROLE** As a Freelance Game Designer on our team, you will immediately join the development of a new episode for our educational games. You will actively help us launch this product on the market and thus contribute to making education a true learning adventure. **This position requires a minimum availability of 20 hours per week.** ##### Your mission at EDURINO * Work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to some of our multiple annual product releases * Take creative ownership from initial visions to the completion of episodes, transforming ideas into reality alongside our talented artists and developers * Manage voiceover recording sessions to ensure high-quality audio that brings our characters to life * Collaborate with educational experts to ensure our games and features are both instructive and educational * Provide comprehensive Game Design documentation and regular updates to the team * Conduct playtesting sessions with kids, gathering and prioritizing feedback to enhance the player experience ##### It is a match if you… * bring 3+ years of practical experience in Game Design * have a strong understanding of game mechanics and player psychology * self-prioritize tasks effectively and are confident in making decisions in a fast-paced environment * mastered iterative testing with users and know how to use data when developing games * demonstrate comprehensive skills in game design documentation, showcasing the ability to illustrate complex ideas clearly * possess experience in storytelling and narrative design * are a proactive communicator, fluent in English, and comfortable interacting with an international and intercultural team of experts ##### Starting date as soon as possible ##### About us What we believe in We believe that, in addition to hiring the best talent, **a diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures leads to the creation of better products.** We hire people who are passionate about the product and team, and we favor ability and willingness to learn over experience.
