# Food Safety Management Lead

As part of the Quality Management team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting the Head of Quality for the Vitamins Unit for all Food Safety Management related matters. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to uphold and enhance quality standards across diverse, high-stakes products, manufacturing sites and projects, requiring a strategic mindset, sharp eye for detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach to navigating Quality & regulatory challenges.
**Your key responsibilities:**
* Subject Matter Expert for all Food and Feed Safety/Defense/Fraud topics (incl. HACCP)
* Quality SPOC for any food relevant updates in regulations, compendia, … .
* Lead Global Contaminants risk assessment for Vitamins Unit product portfolio.
* Escalation and incident management (incl. Root Cause Analysis) for major/critical customer Quality incidents
* Quality SPOC for Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, warehouses.

**You bring**:
* Bachelor level education in Life Sciences (chemistry, (micro)biology, or equivalent)
* Previous experience in Quality Management, Food Safety management function, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, HACCP, Food Safety, Food Defense.
* Experience in managing Food Safety Management incidents or crisis in a manufacturing site environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German or French language skills preferable.
* Experience in performing Quality of Food safety Management System audits.
* High degree of organization, self-managed, initiative
