Anforderungen

•University degree in science or engineering
•User experience with transmission electron microscopy, troubleshooting or modifying electron microscopes advantageous
•Interest in troubleshooting complex systems down to the component level
•Excellent communication skills and teamwork
•Ability to work and network with scientists and engineers across disciplines
•Literate in Linux and Python software environments
•Fluency in English, good command of German advantageous
•Valid driver’s license

Deine Aufgaben

•Provide frontline support for customers and OEM partners
•Commission new detector systems
•Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in-house and on-site
•Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
•Represent DECTRIS in daily interactions via email, phone, and face-to-face
•Support sales, marketing, product management, and development team activities
•Improve EM service processes and expand service infrastructure
•Enhance the knowledge base to ensure camera success within the EM community
•Analyze and solve soft- and hardware problems
•Train users and partners on detector system integration
•Gather and relay customer feedback on existing products
