# Expert Legal Affairs - Austria & Central and Southeastern Europe
**Expert Legal Affairs - Austria & Central and Southeastern Europe (f/m/x).**
**What awaits you?**
* Responsibility to provide expert legal advice and guidance to management and business in Austria and other markets in the Central and Southeastern Europe (CS) Region, including the management of legal and reputational risks.
* Steering, managing and coordinating external law firms in single markets in an efficient and focused way, including the decision which queries to involve external law firms in, fee negotiations and tight control, quality control, in close alignment with the BMW Group Headquarter legal department.
* Advising on applicable regulatory as well as corporate obligations and procedures in Austria.
* Analyzing and communicating legislative and jurisprudential developments pro-actively and providing guidance to management and business on how to best respond to them.
* Implementation of legal projects in the CS Region initiated by the BMW Group Headquarter legal department.
* First point of contact for all internal legal requests, especially supporting commercial and legal negotiations as well as drafting and validating contracts.
* Close collaboration with BMW Group Headquarter legal department and local / regional Compliance Function.
* Working in an international environment.
**What should you bring along?**
* University degree in Austrian Law or higher legal education, preferably admitted to practice as a lawyer.
* Minimum 2 – 5 years working experience in a reputable law firm or as in-house lawyer in Austria.
* Advanced knowledge and practical experience, preferably in the following legal areas: Consumer Protection, Distribution, General Commercial, Corporate, Competition/Antitrust, Contract, Labour.
* High competence in communication, collaboration, accountability, problem solving attitude and hands-on mentality.
* Interest in technical and economic contexts and enthusiasm for BMW Group products.
* Profound knowledge of MS Office tools.
* German and English (negotiation level).

We are looking for you as soon as possible for an indefinite period and offer an attractive salary & benefit package. The minimum salary for this position is € 3.800 gross per month. The actual salary depends on the respective qualification or professional experience, i.e. we determine the actual amount in a personal interview. A significant overpayment is possible with appropriate suitability.
