# Enterprise Risk and Insurance Specialist 80-100%

Opportunity to step into a recently created role to support Sunrise as a newly listed business. The Risk & Insurance Manager is integral to assessing the risk exposure of the business and how insurance can address these exposures.
**YOUR CHALLENGE:**
Risk & Assurance (50%)
* Support the Senior Director in enhancing and embedding risk management across the business.
* Administer and propose changes to the risk management framework, including the incorporation of new risk assessment mechanisms based on best practices and new regulations.
* Develop innovative and pragmatic ways to apply risk-based approaches operationally.
* Coordinate and perform scheduled and ad hoc risk assessments with management, including proactive identification of risks and the maintenance of risk registers.
* Build a holistic view of incident and risk information/mitigations across the business, incorporating this into the enterprise risk management processes.
* Perform regular monitoring and reporting activities to feed into key stakeholders, including the CFO, Executive Committee, and Audit Committee.
* Serve as a knowledgeable and credible collaborator for key internal stakeholders.
Insurance Management (50%)
* Support of Strategic Insurance Management
* Facilitate regular insurance and risk reviews, examining loss data and identifying areas where new insurance policies or risk mitigation techniques could reduce the volume or severity of loss.
* Advise on insurance structure simplification (balancing premiums vs. retention) and provide insights on market trends.
* Operational Insurance Management
* Manage key financial aspects, including budgeting, accruals, forecasting and invoice processing.
* Manage key insurance communications and documents, including the cover matrix/policy summary and insurance confirmations, and maintain the insurance management data room and case database.
* Manage queries with insurance brokers / insurers and provide support to Sunrise Business Unit’s on insurance-related questions.
* Co-ordinate claims management and be the interface between Sunrise, the broker and insurer.
* Organize and moderate insurance visits and manage insurance report findings and recommendations, including corrective measures.
* Support the broker during the annual insurance renewal process and moderate internal procedures (post-NDA signature with each insurer in the RFQ).
**YOUR SKILLS:**
* 2-3 years experience in risk management, insurance, or a related field.
* Relevant experience in a non-financial and non-insurance related industry
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Access).
* Verbal/written fluency in German and English.
