EMEA Account Manager (German Speaking)(m/w/x)
Managing B2B SaaS accounts for compensation management software at a high-growth provider, driving GRR/NRR targets. 5+ years B2B Account Management experience with large/complex accounts and German fluency required. Regular travel to EMEA client sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B Account Management
- Proven track record in managing large or complex customer accounts
- Ability to navigate legacy and new product environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership and strategic mindset
- Comfortable working cross-functionally
- Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel (approx. 2-3 days per month)
Tasks
- Own and manage relationships with assigned accounts
- Drive account performance to achieve ≥95% GRR and ≥115% NRR annually
- Lead renewal cycles and negotiate commercial and contractual terms
- Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at various levels
- Serve as the internal advocate for clients, ensuring team alignment
- Monitor adoption and satisfaction across the portfolio
- Proactively manage risks related to client accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client requests
- Provide regular account updates and contribute to planning and forecasting
- Stay updated on compensation trends and product developments
