Electrical System Engineer (all gender) **🚀 Challenge the Impossible​ ​** **your Crew** You’ll be part of a highly motivated team of seven electronics engineer. We are based in our brand-new circle office at the airport as well as in Zurich Seebach where the hardware production is located. Our diverse team comprises committed engineers from various backgrounds and nationalities, each contributing with their experience. In the business unit “Mechanical Satellites Solution” you’ll work in a multicultural environment comprising round 90 engineers from different fields. **Your Mission** * Electrical design and development of mechanisms for space applications, as well as the associated harnesses * Review of electrical requirements. Provide and justify statement of compliance matrix and associated  verification compliance documents in close collaboration with System Engineers * Preparation, participation and leading of meetings i.e., for technical design reviews with suppliers and with the customer-chain * Design and management of high-reliability Rigid-Flex PCBs by use of Siemens Xpedition or Altium Designer * Definition of requirement specification for space electronics in accordance with the upper-level requirements * Shadow engineering and technical subcontractor management for space electronics * Preparation of technical project offers and alignment with potential subcontractors / suppliers. * Planning and leading of qualification and acceptance test campaigns (e.g. EMC test campaigns and assembly level combined tests) * Specification of EGSEs and support during the commissioning * Provide electrical support for potential NCs and participate in non-conformance review boards and investigations (e.g., root-cause analysis, proposal and evaluation of mitigation actions) * Provide English-written technical documentation e.g., technical specifications, ICDs, PSA, WCA and radiation analysis. * EEE-parts engineering, i.e., preparation of DCL, PAD and participation in part control board meetings * Analysis and simulation of electrical circuits by means of dedicated software * Supporting manufacture and assembly of mechanisms and harnesses with respect to electrical components and properties **Your Story** * Bachelor, Master or University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar * Experience in space industry is a strong asset * Proven experience in writing technical documentation * Experience with Siemens Xpedition and/or other PCB design tools is a strong asset * Knowledge in different radiation aspects like TID, SEE, etc. is an asset * Experience with simulation of the electronic circuits using SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink or other simulation tool is a strong asset * Experience in planning and executing functional performance tests and EMC test campaigns (CE, CS, RE, RS and ESD), including documentation and analysing the tests results is a strong asset * Technical understanding of space quality standards (ECSS / NASA / MIL) and EEE components * Experience working in lab environment/clean rooms * Experience in microelectronics, programming of microprocessors and FPGAs and programming in LabView is nice to have * Advanced and proven level of English (spoken and writing); German and/or French is an advantage * Self-organized, proactive person, able to manage different projects in parallel * Committed and rigorous in the daily work, good communicator and team player **Why Beyond Gravity?** * Work in an international environment with global mindset and high-tech products that will fly into space * A highly specialized and motivated team with a lot of know-how in a unique industry * We live a hands-on mentality and take suggestions for improvement seriously * Attractive employment conditions (contribution to public transport, trainings and development opportunities, full paid maternity/paternity leave and many more) * Flexible and mobile working and at least 5 weeks of vacation with possibility to buy additional vacation **🌌Are you ready for lift-off?** Location: Zürich Flughafen, ZH, CH Job Experience Level: Professionals Job Category/Job Family: Engineering Req ID: 7575
