We are looking for experienced Enterprise Architects to partner with several Global Business Areas (GBAs) and enabling functions. You will work on a strategic and tactical level to shape resilient, secure, data-centric product ecosystems that power tech-enabled consulting across Ramboll. If you combine deep architectural expertise with a gift for storytelling and stakeholder engagement, we want to hear from you. **WHAT YOU WILL DO** * Co-create technology strategy & roadmaps with GBA leadership that unlock growth, operational excellence and sustainability. * Design and maintain a coherent product & data ecosystem spanning multi-vendor cloud platforms, SaaS and in-house solutions. * Spot and prove the value of emerging tech (e.g., GenAI, data mesh, application fabrics) through pragmatic Proofs-of-Concept. * Lead architecture governance for domain product suites and production platforms, ensuring security by design, compliance and alignment with our IDT Blueprint—without becoming a single point of failure. * Modernize legacy estates: assess code bases & applications, guide rebuilds/migrations to improve resilience and maintainability. * Facilitate cross-GBA alignment to reduce interface friction on joint projects and promote reuse of patterns, data products and APIs. * Coach and mentor architects, product teams and business stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear business narratives. * Collaborate with Technology Operations, Cyber Security, and Data & AI to mitigate technology risks and debt. You will help shape this role and we value your ideas on how to make it a success. **HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED IN YOUR ROLE** * 7+ years in enterprise or solution architecture within large, global organizations—ideally professional services or engineering/consultancy. * Proven record building technology roadmaps and governing multi-cloud product ecosystems. * Deep knowledge across business, application, and data architecture; fluent in EA frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe, etc.). * Solid grasp of secure by design principles and relevant legislation (e.g., NIS2, GDPR) and cloud governance frameworks. * Hands-on experience with data platforms, lakehouses, and/or data mesh concepts; passion for turning data into value. * Storyteller and influencer—able to craft compelling narratives for executives and engineers alike. * Pragmatic and outcome-focused; comfortable balancing ideal architecture with real-world constraints. * Empathetic collaborator & mentor; committed to diversity and psychological safety. * Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
