Anforderungen

  • •Completed university degree (Master’s) in Electrical Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
  • •Solid expertise in high-frequency and microwave circuit design and experience with finite-element method (FEM) simulation tools
  • •Experience in microfabrication techniques and knowledge of NMR and EPR spectroscopy are advantageous

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Identify and analyze promising high-temperature superconductor materials
  • •Investigate commercially available superconductors and materials from partners
  • •Analyze electromagnetic properties and loss mechanisms of materials
  • •Evaluate practical limitations such as fabrication and cooling requirements
  • •Conduct extensive FEM simulations for HTS-based EPR resonators
  • •Optimize sensitivity by increasing the Q-factor and minimizing losses
  • •Develop an experimental platform for testing HTS resonators
  • •Design resonator holders and coupling mechanisms for cryogenic cooling
  • •Characterize resonators at X-band and high-field spectrometers
  • •Establish sensitivity benchmarks for resonators
  • •Participate in lectures and conduct related exercises
  • •Supervise students in practical courses
  • •Publish research results
