# Discovery Consumable Sales Specialist (d/f/m)

The **Discovery Consumable Sales Specialist (d/f/m)** is responsible for active selling and promoting of Cytiva Discovery consumable portfolio directly or indirectly through official Channel Partners.
This position reports to the **Discovery Zone Leader (Central Zone)** and is part of the Discovery team. The Work will be **fully remote** and covering Central-East of Germany.
**What you will do:**
* Achieve sales targets and build a satisfied customer base in the assigned region through relevant expertise and a commitment to continuous learning about the product portfolio
* Consistently strive to establish and expand customer relationships
* Lead sales negotiations and close deals, engaging with all key purchasing influencers such as direct users and decision-makers
* Take full responsibility for the entire sales process—from lead generation to sales and after-sales support
* Promote collaboration with our distributors, including their training and joint customer visits
* Develop an active understanding of customer workflows to generate leads for relevant instruments by combining consumables (in collaboration with hardware specialists and account managers)
**Who you are**
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, ideally in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Molecular Biology
* Several years of professional experience in a commercial role, preferably within the Life Sciences industry
* Strong understanding of networking and collaboration across various stakeholders
* Fluently German and English language skills (spoken and written)
**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:**
* Willingness to travel – around 50% in the region, including overnight stays
* Valid driver’s license
