Students and staff come from over 70 countries around the world, providing for a multicultural and diverse work environment. ##### Your responsibilities * Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate partners for collaborative programs, internships, research sponsorships, executive education, and philanthropy. * Serve as the primary liaison between the university and its corporate stakeholders. * Develop tailored partnership proposals and negotiate agreements that support mutual objectives. * Identify and secure funding opportunities through strategic partnerships, training programs, and consulting initiatives. * Design and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the university’s long-term goals. * Identify new markets, partnership opportunities, and innovative growth channels. * Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance institutional visibility and relevance in key industries. * Collaborate with academic units to develop market-responsive offerings that attract external partners. * Represent the university at industry events, conferences, and meetings. * Build networks across sectors to strengthen the university’s reputation and influence. * Work closely with internal stakeholders including faculty, alumni, advancement, and career services. * Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to support partnership visibility and branding. * Contribute to the University’s marketing and student recruitment strategy, support the University’s student recruitment activities in selected markets. ##### Your profile * University degree or equivalent. * Minimum five years full-time relevant work experience in business development / sales-related positions with international exposure, preferably in education or related fields, familiarity with a university environment is an asset. * Strong organizational skills, proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multitask, broad network in the Austrian business community. * Proactive, agile and engaged attitude with a business & results-driven mindset. * Effective planning and time management skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German (at C-level). * IT affinity and excellent knowledge of MS office, especially Excel and Outlook * Valid work permit in Austria. ##### Why join us? * A challenging and varied job at a private university which is looking to further expand its programs, research activities, and student numbers. * Independent working style with high personal responsibility * An international and dynamic work environment * A gross monthly salary of EUR 3,550 (for 40 hours) paid out 14 times per year with additional remuneration based on qualifications and experience. ##### About us Modul University Vienna is an international private university and offers cutting-edge education at BBA, BSc, MSc, MBA and PhD levels.
