Join Roche, where every voice matters. ### The Position The Asset Administration Shell (AAS) is a fundamental concept in the digitalization of industrial systems, aligning with the vision of Industry 4.0. It represents a standardized digital twin for physical assets, allowing a seamless interface between physical systems and the digital world. The AAS encapsulates all relevant information about an asset, including its state, behavior, and lifecycle data, creating an interoperable and machine-readable profile of the asset. As a Digital Strategy Delivery Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a cross-functional team to develop and implement digital solutions, like the AAS, in the space of new CAPEX investments as well as in brownfield sites across the globe. ### The Opportunity You will be at the forefront of the digital revolution in manufacturing, influencing the way digital technologies shape our organization and industry. You will play a leading role in the ongoing development and implementation of our digital initiatives and the expansion of our digital and engineering capabilities. Collaborate closely with both internal stakeholders, such as engineers and operators, and external stakeholders, including universities and institutions, to understand their needs and develop innovative digital solutions that streamline our manufacturing processes. Gain in-depth knowledge of digitalization and Industry 4.0 topics like the Asset Administration Shell (AAS), Unified Namespace, Digital Process Twins, and many more, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. Engage in building a technical community around the digital solutions within the SMF program and interact with relevant stakeholders. Strengthen your technical skills and enhance your ability to build relationships and networks. In order to support our digital projects in the best possible way, we are looking for a project leader to ensure the following activities: * Foster Cross-Organizational Alignment and Scale: Collaborate with IT and PT functions to deliver transformative AAS initiatives, ensuring alignment across stakeholders. * Define and Manage Requirements: Translate business needs into actionable user requirements and backlogs for multidisciplinary agile teams. * Lead Digital Teams: Coordinate implementation teams, including data scientists, data engineers, UX/UI designers, IT specialists, process and automation engineers, and SMEs, ensuring smooth execution. * Track and Deliver Value: Ensure value realization through measurable outcomes, tracking and reporting progress effectively. * Build Manufacturing Capabilities: Guide the organization in adopting digital technologies by building and deploying necessary capabilities. * Promote Best Practices: Develop and share best practices for digital product ownership and translation within a community of practice, offering training and coaching to scale adoption. * Engage and Inspire: Deliver presentations and workshops to internal stakeholders, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for Generative AI and its transformative potential. * Scope of Role: Focus on our CAPEX investments to deliver digital capabilities that ensure future readiness of our manufacturing. ### Who you are With your customer-centric ability, you will understand and address customers' challenges and goals through innovative digital solutions. Drawing on your proactive approach to identifying solutions, you will drive measurable value and deliver ambitious outcomes. Furthermore, you bring the below skills and qualifications: * Bachelor or Masters in a Science or Engineering field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience * Project Management and Execution: Experience in handling medium and large investment projects with a diverse group of stakeholders * Strategic Mindset: Experience in digital and innovation management, informatics strategy development, and execution with a focus on cutting-edge digital solutions. * Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead (matrix) teams, foster alignment across functions, and manage cross-functional relationships in complex organizations * Presentation and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for inspiring teams and presenting compelling narratives about the potential of digital transformation We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until 31.12.2026. **Roche is an Equal Opportunity Employer.**
