Internship: Digital Hardware Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Location: Gratkorn | Type: Part time


This internship offers the opportunity to learn about the most advanced Digital Design and Verification methodology, improve your knowledge on System HW/SW co-design, HDL languages and get in touch with the most advanced design and verification environments offered by the EDA industry.

Additionally you will also learn or improve your knowledge on Digital Signal Processing design and verification techniques, working in the context of the NFC Modem development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Preparing an implementation proposal

  • Implementing the requested tasks, adopting an incremental test and release approach

  • Keeping the database well-versioned and documented

  • Analyzing and understanding the assigned tasks

  • Generate documentation, where and when necessary

Your Profile:

  • Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar

  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing concepts and DSP tools (Matlab, Numpy, etc)

  • Basic knowledge of Linux OS and/or bash/tcsh scripting

  • Basic knowledge of Verilog or VHDL

  • Basic knowledge of Centralized Version Control Systems (e.g. SVN, GIT) is an advantage

  • Basic knowledge of RISC-V ISA is an advantage

  • Solid English skills (speaking and writing)

  • Autonomous, reliable, team-oriented and self-driven working style

  • Availability around 16 hours/week

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 17- gross/hour.
