## Job Description
In 2013 “Conti Pressure Check”, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for commercial vehicles by Continental, was rolled out. It is one of the first systems with a sensor attached to the tire. The systems capabilities will expend permanently, meanwhile, for example, the customer could check tire status online via Conti Connect and the latest sensor generation is able to communicate additionally via Bluetooth.
We want to strengthen our team by improving our capabilities to steer the development of electronics (e.g. sensors) and embedded software for such.
Your tasks in detail:
* Steer development of automotive electronics and embedded software, especially of TPMS sensors
* Transmit given requirements, especially of sensors but not exclusively, into specifications
* Transmit specifications into a development plan with dedicated work packages, including needed resources and needed competencies
* Create or release test plans for sensors and other electronics
* Development of technical/electronic/software based solutions, incl. concept generation, evaluation of solution proposals, steering of realization
* Generate design of innovative approaches under consideration of state of the art technologies with the target to get, to use and/or to transmit information about the tire
* Leading complex projects and ensure releases according to given rules
* Steering of internal and external supplier
* Creation of reports and documentation
## Qualifications
* Academic degree in electronics, mechatronics or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in automotive electronic development, optimally in tire sensor (TPMS) development
* Deep knowledge in all steps and areas of TPMS sensor development and testing
* Knowledge about transmission technologies (e.g. 433MHz based, Bluetooth)
* Knowledge about relevant standards (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21434)
* Practical experience in electronics e.g. sensors, embedded controller
* Advanced programming knowledge
* Experienced in project managements
* Good German and English Language skills (written and spoken)
* Self motivated, openness and responsibility awareness
