# Demand Planner

**About the Role**
Demand Planner supports the demand planning process by analyzing sales trends, forecasting demand, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely supply planning. This role contributes to the alignment between commercial forecasts and supply capabilities, helping to maintain optimal inventory levels and service performance across the Alpine Cluster.
**Key Responsibilities**
· Support the creation and maintenance of rolling demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from commercial teams.
· Drive monthly planning cycles, alignment meetings with Sales and Finance, and provide data and input for S&OP meeting.
· Analyze forecast accuracy, bias and support root cause analysis for deviations.
· Maintain and improve demand planning reports and dashboards to support better decision-making process.
· Ensure accurate and timely updates of demand-related master data in planning systems.
· Support system testing and enhancements in collaboration with IT and global planning teams.
· Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Finance to gather input and align on forecast assumptions.
· Support communication of demand changes to supply and logistics teams.
· Review, monitor drive inventory levels and service performance to identify potential risks or gaps.
· Assist in defining corrective actions to mitigate stock-outs or excess inventory.
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives in demand planning and S&OP.
· Participate in training and development activities to build planning expertise.
**Requirements**
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
· 1-3 years of work experience in a similar position.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and experience in ERP or planning systems. Experience with PowerBi considered a strong advantage.
· Fluency in German and English.
· Open mindset, strong communication and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as in the team.
